Maui Dive Sites

Mala Pier

Mala Pier is one of Maui's most iconic dive sites. The remains of a sunken pier just off Lahaina have transformed into a remarkable wreck dive and thriving turtle cleaning station. At any given time, you can expect to encounter anywhere from 10 to 40 green sea turtles resting on the structure and congregating in the surrounding waters.

Kahekili Beach (Airport Beach)

Kahekili Beach, also known as Airport Beach, is located in Kaanapali on Maui's west side. This beautiful beach and the reef below it are popular with snorkelers and divers alike, offering an accessible and rewarding underwater experience for all skill levels.

Black Rock

Black Rock is a popular dive and snorkel site in Kaanapali, just a short distance from Kahekili Beach. The site is home to a variety of interesting reef formations filled with crustaceans, eels, and nudibranchs, making it a great spot for encountering colorful marine life.

Oluwalu Bay

Oluwalu Bay is located about 20 minutes south of Lahaina in the quiet town of Oluwalu. Though known as a popular surfing spot, when the ocean is calm the bay opens up to an excellent dive site. Swim out to the offshore reef, which serves as a natural turtle cleaning station, for up-close encounters with Maui's beloved green sea turtles.
